Painted Mountain Golf Club has an eighteen hole regulation course and a nine hole executive course. The Championship Course is a desert course with natural terrain on the sides of the fairways. However, there is grass growing from the tees to the greens. The greens are medium speed. The Executive Course provides good practice for using irons, making it a good location to work on your short game.

As many golfers in Arizona know, the winter months are the season of increased greens fees. Golfers don't need to pay the high priced green fees to play a nice resort. Once known as Camelot Golf Course, Painted Mountain Golf Club in Mesa provides any skill-level golfer a higher than average golf experience at a lower than average green fee. Driving into the parking lot, it is easy to see the amenities available at Painted Mountain.

The John Jacobs golf school is headquartered here and offers golf classes at the outstanding practice facilites. There is a great driving range, a practice bunker, and two putting greens. A full-service restaruant, large pro shop, and a well stocked fashion boutique for the non-golfer as well.
